Methodist Christian College Scholarships

Application Deadline April of each year

Award Amount $1000 scholarship awards (recently 1000 scholarships awarded)

These Christian college scholarships are offered to undergraduate students at Methodist colleges and universities. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be active in his/her church. Financial need is also considered. For Gift of Hope Scholarships information and application see www.gbhem.org


Spiritual Values Scholarships from Roothbert Fund Scholarships and Grants

Application Deadline January of each year

Award Amount $2000 - $3000 per year, may be renewed (approximately 20 scholarship awards per year)

These scholarships are open to undergraduate and graduate students who are motivated by spiritual values. Preference is given to those who are considering teaching as a career. There are no restrictions on type of religion. Must be a resident or planning to move to one of these Eastern states: Connecticut, Delaware, Washington DC, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, or West Virginia. Dollars for Scholars Program

Application Deadline ~ March or May of each year

Award Amount varies

These Christian scholarships provide financial aid for college student attending Methodist college, university or seminary. Their home church must nominate them and agree to contribute to their support. Some awards are designated for HANA students (Hispanic, Asian, and Native American students. Christian Church Helm Leadership Fellows

Application Deadline ~ March of each year

Award Amount $2000 per year

These Christian scholarships are offered to members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) who are interested in a leadership role in the church. The scholarships are offered to high school seniors and transfers from community college who will attend a 4-year college or university in the U.S> or Canada. National Presbyterian College Scholarships

Application Deadline ~ January of each year

Award Amount $250 to $1400 per year depending on financial need

These scholarships for Christian students are offered to high school seniors planning to attend a Presbyterian college. Applicants must be members of the Presbyterian church, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need. Northeast Presbyterian Christian Scholarships

Application Deadline ~ March of each year

Award Amount $2000 per year

These Christian college scholarships are open to members of Presbyterian churches in the northeast (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont) who are entering a 4 year degree, 3 year master of divinity program, or a 2 year Christian education degree. Undergraduates Exploring Ministry Program

Application Deadline ~ January of each year

Award Amount $2000 per year (up to 50 scholarships per year)

These Christian college scholarships are open to juniors and seniors in undergraduate programs who are considering ministry as a career. GPA 3.0 or higher required, and a love of God and church. For more Christian Scholarship requirements see www.thefund.org


Scholarships for Methodist College Students

Application Deadline ~ May of each year

Award Amount $1000 per year, may reapply (recently ~20 scholarships awarded)

These Christian college scholarships are open to undergraduate, graduate and professional students who have been active members of the United Methodist Church. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or better and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to those students attending a United Methodist-related college, university, seminary, or theological school. For more information on the Priscilla R.
