This scholarship for women, funded through the Henry & Sara Sheehan foundation, is granted annually to female high school seniors who plan to pursue a college degree and who demonstrate academic achievement, excellence of character, financial need and active engagement with the sport of golf. This scholarship for women, formerly known as the Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship, is targeted for female students who will major in computer science or computer engineering with a GPA of 3.5 or better. Some scholarships are designated "First Years" for high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall, and others are for college students. Executive Women International Scholarship Program

Award Amount $200,000 of college scholarships for women are awarded each year, up to $10,000 for national winners, and up to $4000 for chapter scholarships.
This scholarship for women is open to female high school juniors who demonstrate outstanding leadership and business potential, who plan to attend college in the US and pursue a degree in business or professional field of study. 750 word essay required. The Dotcom-Monitor Women in Computing Scholarship is offered to female students currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants should have either already declared their major in computer science, or have completed at least one academic year in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field. The Talbots scholarship for women is available for women who graduated from high school or obtained their GED 10 years ago or more (e.g. 2004 or before for 2014 Talbots scholarship applicants), and who are attending a 2, 3 or 4 year college or university in the US or Canada, with one more year to go before they graduate. Note: this scholarship program is now closed. Starting in 2012 it is no longer offered. It had been open to girls ages 12 – 18 in middle school or high school. Girls were nominated based upon making a difference and showing initiative toward starting a business or financial independence.
