These medical scholarships are open to US and Canadian citizens enrolled full-time and studying medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy or medical technology. Applicants in undergraduate programs must be in 3rd or 4th year of college, and nursing students must have finished one year or schooling. MD or DDS candidates must be in their second year of medical school or dental school. Pre-med students are not eligible. Preference is given to students of Christian background. These medical scholarships were for high school juniors and seniors who have conducted original research on a health related issue, that uses epidemiology to explore the patterns of disease, illness and injury within populations. This scholarship program ended in 2011.
